This is the most important stage for developing young soccer players. There are evaluation sessions held by the HDSC technical staff to field the most competitive teams (U12 Tier 2A) as well as to balance the next competitive level (U12 Tier 2B) in early April. The recreational level will also hold sessions, which will be advertised, during the month of April.
This program is for the majority of our U12 players. Teams play in the Capital Inter District Soccer League (CISL) with approximately one to two games per week beginning June 1st and running through mid August. There will be approximately 16 games during the season. These games are held on artificial turf and are considered playable in all weather. Games will go ahead in the rain and will only be cancelled during storms. Cancellation will be determined only by the CISL. Practice sessions will be held at least once per week as outlined and determined by the HDSC technical staff in conjunction with the coach(es). Practices will begin in April and run through to August.
